Feed the homeless

The Dream Center provides 4,800 meals a month to homeless persons living on the streets, under bridges and bypasses, as well as for those that are living in motels or shelters. Help the Love on a Mission Team serve a nutritious hot meal to someone who would otherwise go without for days at a time.

Distribute Clothing

Many families are at risk for losing their children to the Foster Care system because they are unable to provide for their children’s basic needs like clothing. Help a family send their children to school in clean, properly fitting clothes from donations distributed by the Love on a Mission Team.

Provide school supplies

Many children are held back from attending school because their parents are unable to supply them with basic items like pencils, paper, and crayons. Help children succeed in school by enabling the Love on a Mission Team to distribute backpacks full of supplies to them.

provide personal hygiene items

Daily personal hygiene items are desperately needed for those living on the streets and in shelters. Help the Love on a Mission Team distribute packs that contain necessities like soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, lotion, and sunblock.

give a free ride to church

The Dream Center provides free bus rides for those without transportation so that they can attend weekly church services at Angeles Temple. Sponsor the Love on a Mission Team as we participate on this outreach by riding along, establishing relationships with those we pick up, and even providing a free lunch on the way home.

clean graffiti

Help the Love on a Mission Team clean up downtown L.A. and and keep its surrounding neighborhoods a clean and safe place for children to play by removing offensive and graphic graffiti throughout the community.

distribute groceries

Assist the Love on a Mission Team to provide a bag of groceries to families in need. Food Trucks from the Dream Center go out to serve the community five days a week, going to 31 sites in some of the poorest areas of Los Angeles. They reach 1,500 people in over 400 families each day.

deliver furniture

Many parents are at risk for losing their children to the Foster Care system because they are unable to provide for their basic needs like a bed for them to sleep in. Help the Love on a Mission Team deliver furniture and other donated items to families in need throughout Los Angeles.

clean a home

Help the Love on a Mission Team show love to the elderly population of Los Angeles by addressing some of their basic needs such as cleaning their home and tending to their lawn.

adopt a block

Sponsor the Love on a Mission Team as we reach out to the residents in the communities of Echo Park, Silverlake, Skid Row, and South Central L.A. Through the efforts of the Dream Center, over 5,000 families are visited weekly on a total of 85 blocks.

provide medical care

Sponsor the Love on a Mission Team as we go out into neighborhoods with the Dream Center’s Mobile Medical Clinic. The mobile clinic is equipped to provide diagnostic services, treatment, lab work and pharmacy services to those without health insurance.

distribute bibles

Enable the Love on a Mission Team to distribute free Bibles to the homeless, residents of the Dream Center’s Rehabilitation program, and those who have recently accepted Christ into their life.

sponsor metro kidz

The Dream Center reaches over 1,500 at-risk children every week with a message of hope. Using Nickelodeon-style skits to teach character development, the goal of Metro Kidz is to build relationships with kids and their families with the purpose of addressing their spiritual and physical needs. Sponsor the Love on a Mission Team as we assist in providing this service to the community.

dream center disciples

The Dream Center operates a residential rehabilitation program that assists adults ages 18-59 with substance abuse, anger management, and emotional struggles. This program is free to all those who attend. Help the Love on a Mission Team partner with the Dream Center in showing love and support to those enrolled in the program.

Dream center academy

The Dream Center operates a Christian secondary school that provides a safe, drug-free, alternative learning environment for 6th-12th grade students. Sponsor the Love on a Mission Team as we serve as tutors and Big Brothers and Big Sisters to the students enrolled in the DC Academy.
